Data & methodology
Every price on this site traces back to a collected record with a source and timestamp. We never estimate, interpolate, or invent a price.
Where the data comes from
Prices are aggregated from publicly available regional pricing listings and stored as raw
records before anything is displayed. Each record carries the source it came from and the
exact time it was collected (scraped_at). When multiple sources cover the same
service, country and plan, the most trusted and most recent record wins.
The current dataset holds 2,684 price records across 26 services and 46 countries, each with its own collection timestamp.
Freshness
Prices were last observed on ; our last collection run was . We show the observation date on every page because that is the honest age of a price — collecting an old listing again does not make it fresher. Stale data is shown as stale rather than hidden.
Currency conversion
Subscriptions are charged in local currency; we show both the local price and a US-dollar equivalent. USD figures are converted at collection time, so exchange-rate movement after collection can shift the effective price by a few percent. Rankings are computed from the USD figures.
Where EUR figures appear, countries that are actually billed in euros show their exact euro price; for every other country the EUR figure is converted from USD at the European Central Bank daily reference rate, whose date is shown next to each table. Those converted values are a convenience approximation — the checkout charges the local currency.
What we deliberately don't do
- No estimated or extrapolated prices — a country appears only if we have a record for it.
- No promotional or introductory rates — we track standard recurring prices.
- No affiliate influence on data — affiliate links never change a price, a ranking, or which country is called cheapest. See the affiliate disclosure.
Known limitations
- Prices change frequently; between updates a provider may have moved a price.
- Some countries add taxes at checkout that are not part of the listed price.
- Plan structures differ slightly by country for some services (e.g. ad-supported tiers existing only in some markets).
- USD conversions drift with exchange rates between updates.
Spot an error? The right fix is a fresh data collection run — prices on this site are never edited by hand.
