What the money does not buy

• No price on this site comes from a partner. Prices come from the sources listed on the methodology page, and are picked by a written rule that has nothing to do with money.
• No ranking is sponsored. Which country is cheapest is arithmetic. A vendor cannot pay to move up, down, or off a page, and none has asked.
• No vendor on this site is a partner. The 320 products we price are tracked without their involvement; we are not affiliated with any of them.
• Placement is fixed. On product, country and comparison pages the commercial block sits in one place — under the price table — and never appears more than once. The two articles about paying abroad (VPNs and multi-currency cards) also link the partner in the text, marked there as an affiliate link.

The caveat that goes with it

Paying a different region’s price usually breaks the vendor’s terms of service, and some checkouts verify a local billing address. Read the terms before you switch.

A VPN and a multi-currency card are what people actually use to reach another region's checkout, which is why those two are the partners. Neither is a guarantee: storefronts increasingly check billing address, payment-method country, and account history, and some simply refuse. Nothing here is advice to break an agreement you have signed.
